Wine Review: If you are looking for a budget friendly, crowd-pleasing sparkler this could be it. This traditional method Cava blend is a pale golden yellow color with plenty of small bubbles. On the nose, there are aromas of honeydew, lemon verbena, hazelnut, and chalk dust. Moderately frothy on the palate, with crisp medium plus acidity, medium-minus bodied and good balance. It is dry and zesty, with a slightly creamy mouthfeel. There are flavors of Anjou pear, stony minerality, lime and a hint of spicy white pepper. Pair it with light appetizers or fried calamari. – Mark

Winemaker Notes: Fresh and full on the palate. Well balanced, with flavors of acacia blossoms, citrus and red apples, and secondary notes from the bottle ageing. Pairs well with fish, soups, appetizers, and charcuterie.
