Wine Review: This ruby colored Shiraz from Australia is a nice quaffer. It opens with a faint red raspberry bouquet with a hint of leather and blueberry. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is a tasty mild black cherry with notes of gentle plum and faint blueberry. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. This is a perfect Shiraz to pair with meat lasagna or your favorite brick oven pizza. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Open Omrah Shiraz and discover fragrant five spice and ripe black plum; a heady mix of red & black fruit aromas. This is a juicy and fleshy Shiraz that speaks of the delicate balance between ripeness and structural elegance characteristic of premium cool climate reds. The full flavours and warm spice notes of Shiraz go perfectly with rich or creamy dishes. Enjoy a glass with some tapas; spicy sausage, complex dips and black olives.
