Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend opens with a fragrant oak, bacon and black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is a ripe black raspberry with notes of integrated old oak and black plum. I also detected a touch of cranberry as well. The finish is dry and it mild sticky tannins and tingly acidity linger for quite some time. This wine will appeal to Zin fans and it will pair nicely with a big rack of messy barbecue ribs. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Open Omrah Cabernet Merlot and discover ripe Black Doris plum, mulberry and blackberry notes complimented by toasty oak flavours. Generously proportioned with smooth, finely polished tannins, balanced acidity and lively flavours that are the hallmark of the variety. The dark fruit flavours of Cabernet Merlot match red meat beautifully. We prefer classic lamb roast.
