Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chardonnay from Australia opens with a pilsner beer and green apple bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is an oak infused green apple with hints of lime and minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors linger for quite a while. I would pair this wine with grilled swordfish with a lemon butter sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Lemon, quince and nectarine fruits integrate beautifully with winemaking derived aromas to impart a creamy, vanilla custard note with a dash of almond meal. A supple, lithe palate with a fine core of acid, loads of mouth filling texture adding dimension to the vibrant fruit notes. A harmonious wine with a clean finish and delicious lingering flavors.
