Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Australia opens with a mild old oak and cherry cola bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is black plum with notes of tart black cherry and oak. The finish is dry and its flavors are slightly prolonged. This wine would pair well with a pulled pork sandwich. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A complex, plush yet stately wine, with notes of blackberries, currants and vanilla with just a whiff of hedgerow. A punchy vibrant palate with depth and length, layers of fruit with a core of fine tannins and well judged acidity that will reward long term cellaring.
