Wine Review: This Cabernet from Australia tastes like Shiraz. So if you are OK with that, this is a very nice wine. It is opaque and India ink colored Cabernet opens blackberry and mild new leather bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied and displays lots of ripe fruit. The ripe fruit flavors are an extracted blackberry with integrated old oak and a hit of plum and black pepper. The finish is dry and its tannins are soft and its fruit flavors linger. I would pair this nice wine with a pulled pork slider. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A complex, plush yet stately wine, with all the characteristics Cabernet notes of blackberries, currants and vanilla with just a whiff of hedgerow. A punchy vibrant palate with depth and length, layers of fruit with a core of fine tannins and well judged acidity that will reward long term cellaring.
