Wine Review: This slightly cloudy red colored Frappato wine from Sicily opens with a strawberry and red raspberry bouquet with hints of dried red cherry and herbs. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, round and savory. The flavor profile is an oolong tea and light strawberry blend with notes of dried black cherry and stone dust. I also detected some faint hints of triple sec and dried herbs. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins are nicely sustained. I would pair this very good Frappato with a shredded dark turkey meat soft shell taco. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: Ruby red with violet reflections. The notes of rose and candied violets are typical with an elegantly smokey tone. In the mouth, it displays red fruit with balsamic tones. Pair with spaghetti alla Bolognese or lasagna. It's also ideal with cheeseburgers.
