Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a green olive bouquet with hints of blueberry, blackberry and milk chocolate in the background. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and juicy. The flavor profile is black currant and chocolate blend with notes of mulberry. I also detected hints of craisin, tea and cinnamon. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle fine tannins subtly fade away. This Cab would pair well with steak fajitas. Enjoy – Ken & Dave
Winemaker Notes: Optimal conditions for fermentation and barrel aging produced a dark ruby wine with inviting aromas of cinnamon, blueberry, blackberry, vanilla, and cedar. A juicy mid-palate shows flavors of cherry and layers of texture. The natural sweetness of the fruit balances the bright acidity and follows through to the lingering coffee and vanilla cream-laced finish.
