Wine Review: This opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a funky rubber, Bailey’s and dark roasted coffee bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced, smooth and savory. The flavor profile is a kirsch and black currant blend with notes of strawberry licorice with hints of chocolate and toasty oak. The finish is dry and its massive tannins last for a very long time. The Panel suggested that this was a winter fireplace wine. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The ruby/black color of this wine tells you it is pure Cabernet Sauvignon. Aromas of floral sweet pea, sun-ripened plums, sweet oak, mushroom, and wet earth leap from the glass. The bold, rich, mouth-filling flavors of blackberry, black licorice, espresso, and cocoa powder combine with juicy acidity, tobacco, and tea tannins. Enjoy this well-structured, complex, and layered wine with a silky, lingering finish for years to come.
