Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina is Excellent! It opens with a graphite and blackberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, dried herbs, and loam. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, soft, and super smooth. The flavor profile is black currant and crushed stone minerality blend with notes of oak and oolong tea. We also detected hints of dried herbs and blueberry. The finish is dry, and its integrated dusty tannins last for a very long time. The Tasting Panel would drink this Cab on its own by the firepit. Ribeye steak, char grilled butterflied leg of lamb.
