Wine Review: This deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina opens with black cherry and blackberry bouquet with hints of coffee grounds, dried herbs, and Bazooka bubble gum. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, smooth, balanced, and nicely coats your mouth. The flavor profile is black currant and graphite blend with notes of black plum, and clove. We also detected boysenberry, vanilla, and baking spice. The finish is dry and dusty grippy tannins are nicely extended. The Panel felt this was the best "Firehouse" Cab, that we could remember. We would decant this big boy Cab and then pair it with porterhouse steak or with Dave's Cuban cigar. Enjoy – KWGTP
