Wine Review: This ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina was very well-received by the Tasting Panel. It opens with a black currant and black cherry with notes of blueberry and moist pipe tobacco. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with nicely integrated acidity. The mouthfeel is silky smooth and well-balanced. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of mocha and black currant with notes of oak and hints of black tea. The finish is dry, and its sticky tannins linger and last for a very long time. We would decant this Cab in the near term and pair it with a well-marbled ribeye steak. Enjoy - Ken
