Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina is Excellent! It opens with a faint black currant bouquet with hints of crushed stone, blueberry, oak and some florals. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, wonderfully balanced, smooth and silky. The flavor profile is a delicious blend of black currant, blueberry and fine-grained minerality along with notes of black coffee and mocha. We also detected some hints of plum, anise and oak. The finish is dry and its dusty tannins are nicely extended. The Panel would drink this seductive Cab on its own or pair it with porterhouse steak or Roy’s rib roast. Enjoy – KWGTP
