Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina opens with a blueberry bouquet with hints of black cherry, cinnamon and cedar. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied, balanced, juicy and round. The flavor profile is a tasty black currant and black plum blend with notes of mild minerality, tea and black cherry. We also detected hints of oak and fig. The finish is dry and moderate tannins stick around for quite some time. We would pair this versatile Cab with a Colorado lamb chop, beef wellington, or a veal chop. Enjoy – KWGTP
