Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina was very well-received from the Tasting Panel. It opens with a red plum bouquet with hints of strawberry, eucalyptus, and green pepper. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, soft and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty black cherry with notes of red currant and red raspberry. We also detected hints of Canada wintermints and oak. The finish is dry and its moderate fine tannins drifted away nicely. We would recommend pairing this Cab with a filet mignon. Enjoy - KWGTP
