Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet Sauvignon is the best "Firehouse" that I have covered from Pina. It opens with a black currant bouquet with a hint of plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is like the nose, it features tasty black currant and plum flavors with notes of black cherry, cedar and fine grained minerality. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are very prolonged and last for a very long time. This Cab would pair perfectly with a New York strip steak. Enjoy – Ken
