Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina is Excellent! It opens with a black currant bouquet with hints of blueberry and RC Cola. On the palate, this wine is medium to full bodied, smooth, very nicely balanced between its acidity and fruit and wonderfully coats your mouth. Its complex flavor profile is delicious blend of mocha and blackberry with notes of coffee, black licorice and some hints of fresh ground black pepper and blueberry. Its moderate tannins build up and last for a very very long time on the finish. Decant this wine is near term and serve it with a well-marbled ribeye. Enjoy - Ken
