Wine Review: This opaque and very dark colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Pina opens with a very fragrant black currant and kirsch bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, balanced and fruity. The flavor profile is like the nose featuring black currant and black cherry flavors with nicely integrated oak. I also detected hints of black plum and a dash of black pepper. The finish s dry and its moderate tannins show very nice length. This Cab is very steak friendly and would pair well with a New York Strip steak. Enjoy - Ken
