Wine Review: This almost clear to pale straw-colored Pinot Gris from Oregon opens with a fragrant pineapple and honeydew melon bouquet with hints of crushed stone and green apple skin. On the palate, this wine is light bodied with balanced and mouthwatering medium acidity. The flavor profile is Bosc pear and stony minerality blend with notes of pineapple and white peach. I also detected hints of almond in the aftertaste. The finish drifts away nicely. This Pinot Gris was liked by all that tried it. It is a very nice summer offering to serve a little cool on a warm summer day. Enjoy - Ken
