Wine Review: This dark ruby colored red blend from Lirac opens with a mild blueberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, smooth, and elegant. The flavor profile is a gentle blackberry with notes of nicely integrated black pepper and oak. I also detected a hint of plum. The finish is dry and its fine tannins make it rather food friendly. I would pair this first release wine with filet mignon in the near term. Enjoy - Ken
