Wine Review: This deep ruby colored Grenache based wine opens with a barnyard, cedar, and blackberry bouquet with hints of milk chocolate. On the palate, this wine is light plus bodied with plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright. The flavor profile is a smoky oak, black currant, and black tea blend with notes of black licorice, graphite, and black pepper. The finish is dry and shows astringent drying tannins. I would pair this good value Côtes du Rhône with grilled steak tips. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Deep red purple in color, this bottle expresses an intense nose of ripe red cassis and plum fruits with notes of fennel, anise and white pepper following. Rich and generous on the palate, with silky tannins and a voluptuous aftertaste, this blend is well-balanced and of a beautiful length.
