Wine Review: This bright white gold colored Soave opens with an inviting and unique cantaloupe bouquet with hints of banana and basil. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced and round. It nicely coats the mouth. The flavor profile is a very tasty lemon tart and ginger blend with hints of gentle minerality and sake. The finish drifts away nicely. This Soave is delightful and food friendly. It would pair nicely with Island Creek bay oysters. Enjoy – Ken

Winemaker Notes: This Soave is pale straw yellow colored with greenish reflections when young; golden with ageing. The aroma is fresh, flowery with aromas of elder, lemon and cherry. The palate is dry, well-balanced and elegant, with tremendous length and finesse. This wine makes an excellent aperitif and partners especially well with vegetable quiches and delicately flavored fish or shellfish.
