Wine Review: This almost clear colored Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand is very nice. It opens with mild grapefruit bouquet. On the palate, this wine is light bodied, nicely acidic and juicy. The flavor profile is grapefruit and lime blend with notes of minerality. The finish is dry and its flavors drift away nicely. This Sauvignon Blanc is a real quaffer. Bring it to the beach on a hot day. This appears to be sold at Trader Joe's. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Picton Bay Sauvignon Blanc is fresh and vibrant with clean grassiness, concentrated fruit and a crisp, lingering finish. It kind of reminds us of a Granny Smith apple: green, crisp and tart, with flavor that makes your mouth water just thinking about it. In that way, we describe it as approachable. Bright and light, Picton Bay Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect aperitif. It really gets the appetite going.
