Wine Review: This deep dark purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Phase V opens with a black cherry compote and pomegranate bouquet with hints of cinnamon, red plum, and cigar box. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is well-balanced, velvety, lush, and concentrated. The flavor profile is extracted black currant and graphite blend with notes of cedar and dried coconut. We also detected hints of milk chocolate and blackberry. The finish is dry, and its dusty tannins build -up and stick around for quite some time. The Tasting Panel would enjoy this Cab on its own with a cigar. Enjoy – KWGTP
