Wine Review: This midnight purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Phase V is Excellent. It opens with blackberry and black currant bouquet with hints of toasted coconut and leather coat. On the palate, this wine is full bodied with integrated medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is rich, round, and savory. The flavor profile stony mineral and black currant blend with notes of light oak and coffee. We also detected some hints of raisin and vanilla-cola towards the end. The finish is dry, and its well-managed dusty tannins stick around for a very long time. The Panel would decant this Cab and then pair it with a thick porterhouse steak. Enjoy – KWGTP
