Wine Review: This pale yellow colored Chardonnay from Pfendler is very nicer. It opens with mild lemon and gentle oak bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and very easy to drink. The flavor profile is tasty light lemon and gentle pear blend with nicely integrated faint oak in the background. I also detected a touch of pineapple as well. The finish is dry and refined. This Chardonnay is a very nice drinking wine. You could have it with food, like classic spaghetti carbonara or just drink it with friends. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Brilliant and golden in color, with rich notes of creme brulee, Meyer lemon, peach and white flowers. The mid-palate is teeming with lemon meringue, pear, green apple, and persimmon with layers of sultry, honeyed figs, toasted hazelnuts and lively citrus.
