Wine Review: This vibrant northern Italian Chardonnay is pale straw colored, and shows buttered toast, golden and green apple, white peach, white florals, and wet stone on the nose. On the palate, it's dry, silky, balanced and zesty, with medium-plus acidity and a medium body. There are flavors of white peach, lemon-lime, honeydew, banana, and crushed stone, along with notes of vanilla-oak. The mineral-driven finish lasts for a long time. This nice mid-week bottle of Chard would pair well with a pan of creamy spinach artichoke orzo with chicken. - Mark
Winemaker Notes: This wine has a broad and colorful palette of fruit aromas; juicy, flavorful, and long-lasting. Greenish yellow in color, the bouquet is delicate with notes of banana and melon. The palate is dry, fresh and lively with a pleasing fullness that will complement seafood pasta or simple tasty chicken dishes.
