Wine Review: This dark purple colored wine opens with a spicy mild black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, nicely balanced, soft, and smooth. The flavor profile is mild blackberry and black currant blend with black cherry and smidge of oak. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show nice length and linger. This food friendly wine is rather tasty and would pair perfectly with veal parmigianna. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: Dark ruby colour, with purple reflections. Intense nose of macerated cherries and licorice. In the mouth the wine is full-bodied with a generous attack, a pleasant freshness and elegant tannins. This well-balanced wine shows a typical expression of southern Rhône wine with thyme and rosemary aftertaste. Serve with grilled or roasted lamb, beef, grilled rabbit with thyme and rosemary, with garlic mashed potatoes.
