Wine Review: This Old World styled wine is opaque and midnight blue colored. It opens with a fragrant and different black licorice, tar, black olive and black currant bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a black currant and black olive blend with nicely integrated oak. I also detected a hint of black pepper and tea. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are well managed and nicely prolonged. This CDP was well received by our group and would pair well with beef bourguignon. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Appearance: A beautiful deep ruby Nose: Intense black and red fruits, spices and pepper. Palate: Soft and fresh for and tight tannins, with a nice finish on the cherry. Supple wine, soft and fragrant
