Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Cabernet from Chile opens with a smoky oak and mild black raspberry bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and easy going. The flavor profile is a gentle black cherry and black raspberry blend. The finish is dry and its moderate oak tannins are manageable and a bit sticky. This is a pretty good Cab for the money. It would be a nice pub option with a juicy burger. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: The nose is full of sage and oregano intertwined with a pretty cherry aroma. On the palate, this wine is dark and muscular, with black currants, Italian espresso, and bittersweet chocolate flavors. With a bit of air, an inviting red fruit aroma opens up, creating an excellent contrast with the initial dark, brusque character.
