Wine Review: This very pale straw colored Sauvignon Blanc from Pennyroyal is very good. It opens with light lemon bouquet and a hint of mango. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced and fresh. The flavor profile is a mild yellow grapefruit with nicely integrated gentle minerality. I also detected hints of lemon-lime and almond. The finish is dry and refreshing. It will pair very nicely with chicken and broccoli over penne. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: The 2014 Sauvignon Blanc's sur lie aging produced a toasty top note to Savvy's gooseberry and lime fruit.
