Wine Review: This dark ruby colored Pinot Noir from Penner-Ash is very good. It opens with a mild black plum and blackberry bouquet with a hint of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, round and juicy. The flavor profile is a tart plum and spicy black raspberry with notes of oak and oolong tea. I also detected hints of milk chocolate, cherry and dash of black pepper towards the end. The finish is dry and its flavors fade away nicely. I would pair with Pinot with a pork tenderloin with sage and marsala sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Notes of roasted plum mixed with cocoa, tobacco, and sweet cherry. A balanced, approachable palate leaves you with hints of fresh spring earth, while notes of fig offer delicacy and freshness to this wine.
