Wine Review: This slightly cloudy and deep garnet colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with a menthol and green tea bouquet with a hint of green pepper and tar. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, smooth and polished. The flavor profile is red bell pepper, green olive and mint with notes of black plum and oak. The finish is dry, and its tannins linger and last for quite some time. Winemaker Notes: The notes shows a complex bouquet of black fruits and varietal herbs. Blood plum, black currant, anise, and fresh thyme with a glimpse of purple flowers. The palate is medium-bodied with a juicy core of ripe fruit flavors. Integrated French oak notes complement the seamless powdery tannins giving rise to a long a satisfying palate.
