Wine Review: This inky purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon from Australia opens with a leather, mint and balsam fir bouquet with some earthy notes. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. It is balanced and round. The flavor profile is a gentle black plum and bay leaf blend with notes of chalky minerality and Earl Grey tea. With also detected hints of red cherry and cracked black pepper. The finish is dry and its moderate sticky tannins build-up and last for quite a while. Pair with your favorite juicy burger with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: This Cabernet rises from the glass with a complex bouquet of plum, blackberry and anise with a dusting of dark chocolate. It's a delicious contemporary wine, intense and long on the palate with savory tannins coating the mouth. It's best drunk with food, with friends and with a roaring fire in the background.
