Wine Review: This zippy and dry Australian Riesling from Penfolds is a brilliant straw color. The nose has lime, pineapple, apple blossom, Anjou pear and crushed limestone aromas. On the palate, it is medium-minus bodied with bright medium-plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, zesty, refined and a bit austere. There are flavors of lemon-lime and wet stone, along with notes of green pear, white peach, and white pepper. The mineral-driven finish is refreshing and long. This would be perfect with a fried clam basket in these waning days of summer. - Mark
