Wine Review: This slightly cloudy medium purple colored Cabernet Sauvignon opens with an inviting black cherry bouquet with a hints of blueberry, leather, Bazooka bubble gum and rose petals. On the palate, this wine is medium plus bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced, mouthcoating and tight. The flavor profile is stewed black plum and black currant blend with notes of black licorice, black tea, and oak. The finish is dry, and its bold tannins stick around for a while. The Tasting Panel would decant this Cab for at least 30 minutes. The we would suggest pairing this robust Cab with well-marbled ribeye steak or with smoked beef ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Deep, lively red. Instantly Cabernet, exposed by fragrant violet, lavender, blue fruits and the faintest waft of red apple blossom. Medium-bodied. Flavors of juicy red currant jelly, dark plum (and plum acidity), and fresh rhubarb. The acidity is just right! – a lively and lifted conveyance from initial lip-contact to sated ingestion. The graphite tannins are integrated and polished. The oak is seamlessly hidden and concealed. Melding well with fruit.
