Wine Review: This pale white gold-colored Chardonnay from Australia is very good, however it did generate different impressions from the Panel. It opens with a pear bouquet with hints of oak, petrol and banana. On the palate, it is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. We also found it to be rather mouthwatering for a Chard. The flavor profile is a blend of lemon, green apple, banana and butterscotch with nicely integrated minerality. We also detected hints of grapefruit and almond. The finish is dry and it remains zesty. We would pair this different style of Chard with a Baja fish tacos or a seafood casserole. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Light straw in color. This Chardonnay is endowed with a concentrated fruit spectrum of citrus, grapefruit and white peach on the nose. On the palate, this wine extolls freshness, yet not at the expense of an endearing richness and generosity of flavor. It retains trademark Bin 311 mineral acidity and linearity while rock melon and white peach fruits are pronounced. Underlying sherbet and fresh lemon tart impressions coupled with a lovely creaminess add to the structural and flavor pool.
