Wine Review: This pale straw colored un-oaked Chardonnay from Pellet Estate opens with an Anjou pear and green apple bouquet with hints of lemon tea, bees wax, and faint pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with integrated medium acidity. The mouthfeel is nicely balanced, smooth, fresh, and every easy to drink. The flavor profile is brioche, light lemon, and almond blend with notes of Anjou pear and chamomile tea. The finish is dry and its flavors and gentle acidity drift away nicely. The Tasting Panel thought this Chard was very food friendly and versatile. We would pair this Chard with turkey tetrazzini or seared scallops. Enjoy – KWGTP

Winemaker Notes: This wine is bright, with a slightly golden hue. It has a generous and distinctive nose; pear-like with a touch of stone fruit (apricot), lemon/lime, and mineral. It has a rich and crisp palate, rounded edges and is smooth throughout, especially the finish.
