Wine Review: This medium gold colored Chardonnay opens with a lemon verbena and matchstick bouquet with a hint of pineapple. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium acidity. The mouthfeel is round, slightly viscous, balanced, and bright. The flavor profile is a chalky mineral influenced lime and green apple blend with notes of white pepper and other citrus fruits. I also detected hints of saline in the mix. The finish is dry and refreshing. This wine is food friendly and classy. It would be a nice accompaniment to a summer dinner on the porch.
