Wine Review: This light ruby colored red blend is quite impressive. It opens with a mild strawberry licorice like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced, and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty blend of gentle plum and black cherry with notes of spice throughout. The finish is rather dry and its noticeable dusty tannins are lengthy and stick around for a while. This wine would pair well with a NY strip steak with hollandaise sauce. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Best described as Merlot elegance meets Cabernet power. The fragrant aromas of bright berry fruit lead into a core of ripe plum, dark dried cherry and currant flavors that offer layers of depth and richness. Packed with medium rich tannins that give way to a delicious finish that keeps delivering superb flavors. Best from 2008 to 2013.
