Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Cabernet was clearly the best 2010 Cab we have covered so far. It is a big boy wine and it opens with an inviting blueberry and black cherry bouquet with hints of earth and graphite overtones. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, nicely balanced and smooth. The flavor profile is a tasty gentle oak infused black cherry. We also picked up some notes black pepper, fig and blueberry. The finish is dry and its tannins are sticky. The panel suggested decanting this wine and pairing it with a cowboy ribeye steak with gorgonzola butter. Enjoy - KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: The 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon is a youthful, elegantly built wine characterized by wild blackberry and raspberry fruit, with notes of rhubarb, cocoa powder and white pepper throughout. Bright, structured, and complex, this wine is ready to drink now or suitable for cellaring through 2018.
