Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored red blend opens with a mild blueberry with a hint of menthol and vanilla oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a tasty ripe red currant with hints of red raspberry, oak, and boysenberry. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins are very friendly. This wine would pair well with tangy pulled pork. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This wine is luxurious and concentrated but with the perfect measure of balance and finesse. The nose is rich with raspberry, leather, cedar, kirsch liqueur and violets, and on the palate we find intense dark cherry, cocoa powder, dried cranberry, and holiday spice.
