Wine Review: This slightly opaque and dark ruby colored Syrah opens with a black cherry bouquet with a hint of blueberry and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and juicy. The flavor profile is a plum and black currant blend with notes of black pepper and oak. There was also a touch of black licorice as well. The finish is dry and its moderate sticky tannins give it a rustic feel. I would pair the wine with beef bourguignon. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A rich and inviting Syrah, this plump and juicy gem has bold flavors of blueberries, raspberry, licorice, and black tea leaves with accents of brown sugar and cinnamon stick. Bright, concentrated and dense layers reveal a soft and round finish for an exquisite Syrah experience.
