Wine Review: This ruby colored Merlot from Napa opens a red currant bouquet with hints of black pepper and plum. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, slightly acidic and savory. The flavor profile is a black plum and blueberry blend with hints of black pepper and gentle oak. The finish is dry and its fruit flavors and dusty tannins stick around for quite a while. Enjoy – Ken
Winemaker Notes: A lovely aromatic nose precedes a rich palate of juicy cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, followed by brown sugar and pleasing oak notes. This is a bold Merlot with round, silky tannins and an interesting layer of eucalyptus to complement the abundant fruit character.
