Wine Review: This ruby colored Cab Franc opens with mild red currant and red licorice bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavors profile is a mild strawberry licorice with notes of gentle black raspberry, black cherry and light oak that builds in your mouth. The finish is dry and its mild dusty fine tannins are smooth and linger for quite some time. The panel suggests savoring and sipping this wine in the near term by the fireplace. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Elegant and well-balanced, the bold, juicy flavors of black cherry and ripe dark berry's combine with hints of pencil lead, cigar box, and black and white pepper. Well integrated fruit tannins and a big mid-palate burst provide a long, supple finish.
