Wine Review: This very dark ruby colored wine opens with a blueberry and black cherry bouquet with a hint of smoke. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and soft. The flavor profile is a gentle plum and oak blend with a touch of chocolate mixed in. The finish is quite dry and its building tannins are sticky and lengthy. The panels suggested pairing this wine with a big rack of fatty barbecue ribs. Enjoy – KWGTP
Winemaker Notes: Opaque purple in the glass. The wine is rich with ripe blackberry, black pepper and chocolate aromas. It contains very deep and complex flavors with a lasting finish braced by medium tannins. It has the structure to age well over many years. Decant if desired.
