Wine Review: This straw colored Albarino from Rias Baixas opens with an apple with a hint of pear and ginger. On the palate, this wine is light to medium bodied, nicely balanced and crisp. The flavor profile is a tasty apple and pear blend with notes of minerality and hint of peach. The finish is dry and its flavors last for quite a while after the wine is gone. This Albarino would be perfect with bacon wrapped scallops. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: A superb straw-color with green tinges, this wine shows floral aromas and ripe fruit with hints of apple and grapefruit on the nose. Round and well-balanced with great length and a lingering finish, this wine is ready to drink now or in months to come.
