Wine Review: This Syrah from Pax is very dark purple and opaque. It opens with a ripe blackberry like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and fruit forward. The flavor profile is a toasty ripe black currant with a touch of black pepper. The finish is quite dry and its building tannins linger into an extremely long finish. This wine would be a great choice to have with Theresa’s homemade meatloaf. Enjoy – Ken
