Wine Review: This medium ruby colored Pinot Noir from Oregon opens with a black raspberry and blueberry bouquet with hints of oak. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is balanced and bright. The flavor profile is a black raspberry and loam blend with notes of black pepper, oak, and graphite. I also detected hints of stewed plum and mushrooms. The finish is dry and its flavors and faint tannins drift away nicely. This Pinot would pair well with slow cooked brisket. Enjoy – Ken
