Wine Review: This white gold colored Sauvignon Blanc from Paul Buisse opens with a yellow grapefruit and cut grass bouquet with hints of lime zest. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied with medium plus acidity. The mouthfeel is round, very juicy, and mouthwatering. The flavor profile is tart yellow grapefruit and saline blend with notes of nectarine pit and white peach. The finish is dry, and it’s refreshing acidity and flavors are nicely prolonged. I would pair this good value Sauvignon Blanc with your favorite fish taco recipe. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: Candied lemon and exotic fruits on the nose. Freshness followed by a rich and elegant structure. Mineral touch and exotic aromas to finish the tasting. Ideal for appetizers, this Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect wine to open your palate. It is a great match for soft cheeses. Particularly goat cheese which is a specialty of the Loire region. It will also pair well with summertime salads or seafood.
